It is really hard to believe that I have been making videos for nearly a year and helping people with their wardrobes for nearly 18 months. In that time I have a made 44 videos, and my channel has been seen nearly 11,000 times! It is crazy to me to think that so many people have watched. Of course all this video content is great for existing users, but what about for someone brand new getting started with Wardrobe? This post will serve as a bit of a play book. A guide to which videos you should watch and when to get a good jump start on using Wardrobe in Second Life. I do want to add a quick disclaimer here to say that as always all of these videos show MY way of doing things. While some of the things I show are the main way to do things, or are perhaps best practice, much of this is personal preference. Let's Talk Premium

Nothing seems to get people to talk more than changes to the core services offered in Second Life. Linden Lab could be introducing something new, like bento, or introducing a slew of new Linden home options, changes always seem to create lots of discussions. However, what generates even more discussion is when Linden Lab changes something that affects the money aspect of the service, and that is what happened this week. Linden Lab announced changes to the premium service offering , land prices, and more. I will let everyone read the changes on their own, but I wanted to provide my thoughts on this subject. I don't think my opinion will be a popular one, but I hope to give some insight as to why I feel this is a smart move by Linden Lab. The price for an annual membership is increasing from $72.00 to $99.00. The increase is likely to be the part that most people look at and say, "WOW! Can I afford that?" Wardrobe Challenge - 10 a Day

Thanks to this who participated in the first wardrobe challenge . To keep things going this week I thought we might go back to an old Wardrobers slogan, ten a day. So here is the new challenge, try to wardrobe 10 items a day this week. Doesn't matter if they are new or old or a little of both. The idea though is to push your wardrobe closer to done by adding just 10 new items each day. To share the items, create a new tag, maybe call it TenADayChallenge and apply it to the items you upload this week. Next Sunday (or sometime early next week) create a shared link for the items with that special tag and post it as a comment on this blog post . Show off your progress, and all the fancy stuffs you have been uploading with the group. You can delete the tag later after the challenge is complete and people have had a chance to check out your progress. Good luck and happy wardrobing!!
